Saukville man charged after shooting threat

Altercation with neighbors leads to arrest of Mill Street resident

A 53-year-old Village of Saukville man was charged with disorderly conduct for threatening to shoot people outside his residence on Sunday, April 22.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of South Mill Street at 8:23 p.m. because a man was threatening his neighbors with a firearm. 

Police made contact with the 53-year-old and determined that the man and two other tenants got into a verbal altercation. The two other tenants left the scene but later returned.  

The 53-year-old man made comments about putting bullets in people’s heads and said someone is going to die tonight, the police report said. 

The man told officers that nothing happened because he had been sleeping and he didn’t know why the police were there.  

The man was arrested and taken to the Ozaukee County jail. Charges for disorderly conduct are being requested through the Ozaukee County district attorney’s office.  

In other incidents reported by police:

Officers observed a vehicle stopped on the right side of the road obstructing traffic beneath the overpass of I-43 at 12:31 p.m. Monday, April 16.  

Police made contact with the driver, who was a 41-year-old Grafton woman. The woman told officers she pulled over because she needed to blow into her ignition-interlock device.  

According to police, the horn on the vehicle was going off and scared her, so she pulled over. Police discovered the woman had a revoked driving status due to an operating while intoxicated offense.  

She had a valid occupational license but was driving a vehicle outside of permissible hours, the report said. 

The woman was arrested and taken to the Ozaukee County jail. A request for charges of operating while revoked-OWI related license have been sent to the district attorney.  

Police were patrolling near East Green Bay Avenue and Market Street on Monday, April 23, when they discovered that the listed owner of the black sedan traveling in front of them had a suspended driving license.  

During a traffic stop, a 43-year-old Grafton man, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

The man was taken to the Ozaukee County jail. Charges for OWI-3rd offense are being requested through the district attorney.

The man was also cited for driving with a suspended license.
