Saukville auto shop does its part to help Ozaukee’s deputy dogs

The crew at Eddie’s Service in Saukville hosted a fundraiser for the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit Saturday and gave people the opportunity to meet its newest member, a black Labrador named Geo who is trained to detect electronic devices and comfort victims of crimes. Posing with Geo and his handler, investigator Karsen Frame, were Eddie’s owner Paul Krauska (left of Frame) and (from left) family members and employees Brittany Laatsch, Madhav Schoelch, Peter Wieman, Brandon Krauska, Alexis Krauska and Kelly Fischer. Eddie’s raised about $7,000 for the unit, which in addition to Geo includes German shepherds Rev and Odin.  Photo by Sam Arendt
