Sandra Rash

Sandra Ann Rash (nee Haglund), age 84, of Hartford, Wis., passed away Monday, May 11, 2020, at the Aurora Medical Center-Hartford.
Sandra was born Feb. 29, 1936, in Marinette, Wis., to Alice (nee Rothman) and Charles Haglund.
She graduated from Marinette High School, Class of 1954.
Sandra was united in marriage to William R. Rash on Feb. 1, 1966, at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Neenah, Wis.
She was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Grafton.
She worked at the Piggly Wiggly in Jackson and Witt N’ Wisdom Book Store in Grafton for many years.
Sandra and William enjoyed their retirement residing in Arizona. After William passed away in 2012, Sandy moved back to Wisconsin and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford. She loved animals, especially dogs, and birdwatching. She enjoyed reading, games, playing her organ and most of all time spent with her family.
Sandy is survived by her daughters Phyllis (Bill) Young and Laura (Joe) Frisch; sons Keith (Lanette) and Eric (Jennifer) Rash; grandchildren Leandra (Zack) Young-Lutz, Katie Young, Garrison Frisch, Ashlee (Billy) Frisch-Lopez, Megan and Alexis Pittman, Brittany (Sam) Wierzba, Adam (Atlanta) Rash, Samantha (Dan) Marquardt, Rebecca (Tim) Gitto, Jonathan (Alisha) Rash, Charles Rash and Anna, Emma, Michael, Susanna, Rachel, Caleb and Nathan Rash; great-grandchildren Calliope, Athena, Linkoln, Jenesis, Leah, Chloe, Ethan, Audrey, Daisy, Darcy, Emilie and Korbin; sister Karen (James) Shelton; stepbrother Mike (Kathy) Seefeldt; stepsisters Patty (Jim) Bereza and Judy (Ron) Howey; and sister-in-law Nancy McKinley. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 46 years, William Rash; and several siblings-in-law.
The family greeted relatives and friends Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 6 p.m. at Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford, WI 53027. Funeral services for Sandra followed at 7 p.m. with Pastor Paul Waldschmidt officiating.
Sandra’s committal took place on Friday, May 15, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
