Sandee golf outing sets record as it turns 10

The 10th annual Coach Roger Sandee Memorial Golf Outing was held June 22 at Fire Ridge Golf Course in the Town of Grafton and drew a record 27 teams and 108 golfers. The Sandee family shot 16 under par to win by one stroke. After golf, a steak and chicken dinner and raffles were held. Proceeds go to the Gridiron Club, which supports the football team with items not included the school budget. Sandee taught at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School for 34 years and coached football. He died at 71 in 2009.
