Rosalia ‘Sally’ Kirst

Rosalia “Sally” Kirst, 95, of Grafton, died on Sunday, April 29, at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg.

Mrs. Kirst was born in School Hill near Kiel on March 16, 1923, to Joseph and Anna Miller Binversie.  

On April 24, 1946, she married Chuck Kirst at Holy Trinity Church in Kiel.  

Mrs. Kirst was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton and an employee at the Ben Franklin store in Grafton for 17 years.  

Her family said her favorite pastimes were cooking and baking for her family.

Mrs. Kirst is survived by her children Charlene (Mike) Karrels of Grafton, Gregory (Teri) of Green Bay, Kevin (Connie) of Neenah, Randy (Charise) of West Bend, Tony (Bonnie), Mike and Mary Kirst, all of Port Washington, and Tim (Wendy) of Belgium; and siblings Lucille Clevenger of Los Angeles and Marie (Leon) Boll of New Holstein.  

She is further survived by 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Kirst was preceded in death by her husband Chuck and grandson Ryan Kirst.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton.

Visitation will be at the church Monday from 1 p.m. until the service.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church and School are appreciated.
