Roman Kleckner

Roman P. Kleckner, 83, of Belgium died Monday, Jan. 14, at Woodland View assisted living facility in Fredonia.
Mr. Kleckner was born in Belgium on April 13, 1935, to Peter and Anastasia Strauss Kleckner.
He was a longtime farmer who also owned a construction business. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting.
Mr. Kleckner is survived by his siblings Virginella Gonwa of Belgium, Delmar of Wyoming, Francis (Betty) of Belgium, Barbara Barrett of Pewaukee, John (Kay) of Fredonia, Daniel of Delafield, James of Fredonia; and brother-in-law Herman Feyereisen of Belgium.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kleckner was preceded in death by siblings Rosemary Feyereisen, Agnes Huiras and brothers-in-law Joseph Barrett, Roman Gonwa and Alois Huiras.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 23, at Divine Savior Parish, Holy Cross Chapel.
Visitation will be at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.
Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials to Mr. Kleckner’s family are suggested.
Eernisee Funeral Home, Port Washington, handled the arrangements.
