Robert “Bob” McGee

Robert “Bob” McGee of Saukville passed away peacefully on Aug. 14, 2026, surrounded by his family. 

Bob was born March 5, 1958, to Gary and Dorothy (nee Jacque) McGee in Fredonia. He attended Ozaukee High School, later graduating from Port Washington High School. 

He worked as a machinist and robotic welder for many years, primarily at Bolens and Simplicity in Port Washington and Kapco in Grafton, before retiring.

In his free time, Bob enjoyed fishing, music, sports, gardening, metalworking and spending time with his friends and family. He particularly loved football and was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. Bob also had a passion for politics and spent many hours protesting with Ozaukee Indivisible.

Bob is survived by his children Shana McGee and Kyle (Chelsea) McGee along with grandchildren Liam, Adam and Harrison. He is further survived by siblings Jeff, Penny, Debbie and Jody.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jim.

A celebration of life will be held later this year.
