Riveredge seeks volunteers for events
Riveredge Nature Center in the Town of Saukville is seeking volunteers for two upcoming special events.
People are needed to help direct parking, conduct registrations, do general clean up and rinse and sanitize dishes during the annual Farm to Table Dinner on Saturday, Sept. 9.
Shifts are available between 3 and 9 p.m.
Volunteers are also needed to help with the annual Sturgeon Fest at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences in Milwaukee on Sunday, Sept. 24.
People are needed to run the nature store, help release sturgeon, track attendance and lead educational activities. Shifts run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
