River ice compounds flooding

Ice dams on high-rising streams has exacerbated flooding throughout southeastern Wisconsin and other parts of the state this week, and Grafton is no exception. Large chunks of ice —as well as branches, a half-submerged canoe and other debris — were visible on the Milwaukee River along Highway O on Grafton’s north side. Photo by Sam Arendt
