Richard G. Yost

Maj. Richard G. Yost, U.S. Army retired, of Papillion, Neb., passed away on Nov. 3, 2023.

He was born on Oct. 18, 1939, in Port Washington, Wis., to Andrew and Loretta Bode Yost.

He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Evelyn, and his two daughters, Melissa Yost and Kerri Van Briesen (Trace).

His three grandchildren, Sean Van Briesen, Sydney Yost and Delaney Van Briesen, were his pride and joy.

Services are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 24, at 12:30 p.m. at Omaha National Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Delaney Shaye Van Briesen Supplemental Needs Trust.

Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, Papillion, Neb., is in charge of arrangements.
