Richard ‘Rick’ Giese

Richard “Rick” Giese passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at age 59.

Rick was born on May 24, 1961, in Port Washington, Wis., to Alvin and Lois (Fredrich) Giese.

Rick graduated from Grafton High School in 1980 and moved to Pembine, Wis., after living in Grafton most of his adult life.

Rick loved his friends and family. He loved his dog Missy (and all the others before her). He enjoyed gardening and being around people. Rick lived with a lot of physical pain, but he was a loyal and caring friend that could be counted on for a good conversation, a good laugh and a good time.

Rick is survived by his parents Alvin and Lois; his children Matt (Meghan) Giese and Nicole (Greg) Nickel; his granddaughters Madalyn and Maralyn Giese; his sister Sheri Schecher; and many other relatives and friends.  

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at St. Paul Church in Grafton at 11:30 a.m.
