Registrations taken for Sweat4Vets

Registrations are being accepted for the annual Sweat4Vets walk on Saturday, May 20.

Sweat4Vets is a 2-1/2-mile walk between the Rose-Harms American Legion Hall in Grafton and the Peter Wollner Legion Hall in Cedarburg to raise money for veterans’ causes.

This year, proceeds will go to the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative.

Early registration through May 1 will be $35. Registration after May 1 will be $40, and day-of registration will be $45.

Registration for children 12 and younger and veterans is free, but there is a $10 fee for a children’s T-shirt. Veterans must register by May 1 to guarantee a T-shirt.

Registrations will be taken at the Grafton Legion Hall at 9 a.m. The race will begin at 10 a.m.

A shuttle bus will take participants between the Legion halls at the end of the race.
