Registrations taken for Port Safety Town classes
Registrations are being accepted for Safety Town in Port Washington.
Safety Town, sponsored by the Greater Port Washington Kiwanis Club, is intended for children entering 5-year-old kindergarten classes in fall.
The classes will be held Mondays through Fridays from June 4 to 15, at Dunwiddie Elementary School in Port Washington.
There are openings in the 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. classes.
The classes are taught by emergency services officials, such as police and fire department personnel, crossing guards and water instructors.
