Registrations accepted for Fish Day run, walk
Registrations are being accepted for the 34th annual Fish Day Run/Walk on Saturday, July 20, in Port Washington.
The event is the largest annual fundraiser for Portal, Inc., a non-profit agency serving adults with disabilities in Ozaukee County.
People can register for the competitive, chip-timed 8-kilometer run and family-oriented 2 -mile run or walk through Friday, July 12.
The cost of early registration is $25 per person or $20 per person for families of three or more people.
These registration forms and fees may be mailed to Portal, Inc., P.O. Box 65, Grafton, 53024 or dropped off at the Portal office, 1015 Cedar Creek Rd., Grafton, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. A registration drop box is also available at Port Washington State Bank in Port Washington.
Registrations will be accepted after that day, but the fee will be $30 per person or $25 per person in a family of three or more.
Race-day registrations will be taken from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce Visitor’s Center, 126 E. Grand Ave.
The race will start at 8 a.m. with State Rep. Jim Ott serving as honorary race starter.
