Reaching for the treetops at Riveredge


RIVEREDGE NATURE CENTER in the Town of Saukville held an open climb session Saturday, July 11, that elevated participants high into the forest canopy along the Milwaukee River. Among those taking part were Evelyn Chenery, 14 (top photo) and Joseph Chenery, 9 (bottom photo), shown being assisted by Riveredge Environmental Educator Molli Rasmussen. The center’s tree-climbing program, which is held periodically, is designed for youths and adults, ages 7 and older. The next open climb is scheduled for July 25. For more information, call 375-2715.
