Protecting plants from deer is topic of online talk

Ozaukee Master Gardeners will host a virtual talk with author Karen Chapman Thursday, March 24, on how garden designs can protect prized plants from deer.
“Deer Resistant Drama” will begin at 7 p.m. and provide information on how good garden design can help protect plants from becoming deer food without the use of fences.
The presentation will draw on Chapman’s years of personal experience and research she compounded into her latest book “Deer Resistant Design.”
During the talk, Chapman will share eight key design principles for gardens free from deer intervention by using “deer resistant” plants.
