Port Summer Theatre presents ‘Disco Inferno’

Tickets are being sold for “Disco Inferno,” the Port Summer Theatre’s musical production, which will be presented on Friday, July 13, and Sunday, July 15.
This year’s show will be held at Memories Ballroom in the Town of Port Washington because Port Washington High School’s auditorium is being renovated this summer.
The show tells the story of Jack, played by Alex Orten, who meets Lady Marmalade, portrayed by Jackie Rowley, while working late in the London nightclub, Disco Inferno.
Lady Marmalade is a femme fatale and the devil’s right hand lady. Jack, dreaming of becoming successful, makes a Faustian pact with her, trading his soul to fulfill his wildest fantasies.
Jack soon becomes an international success, even making an appearance on “Top of the Pops,” but his success proves hollow as he is losing his devoted girlfriend, Jane, played by Brianna Dawson. Jack then mulls what would happen if he could turn back time and make one more trade — trading what he has for the love of his life.
Among the songs in the musical are “Hot Stuff,” “Celebration,” “Ballroom Blitz,” “I Will Survive,” “Disco Inferno,” “Crocodile Rock,” “Streetlife,” “Instant Replay,” “Boogie Shoes,” “Fire,” “Spirit in the Sky,” “Some Girls” and “Don’t Give Up on Us.”
The cast members and their roles include Jack Wagner as Tom, Liz Mackey as Maggie, Hans Pfrang as Heathcliff, Laura Cashin as Kathy, Michael Babcock as Terry, Frank Gedelman as the devil, Caitlyn Eisner as Lily, Nick Shininger as Dick Clark, and Joe D’Acquisto as Nick Diablo.
Other cast members include Dana Tremelling, Kaitlyn Kropidlowski, Jamie Love, Miranda Larsson, Kalyn Diercks, Macy Smith, Anna Couwenhoven, McKenna Craun, Lauren Claas, Kyla DeFendi, Mikayla Plaza, Sydney Tonn and Ron Voigt.
Diana Neumeyer is the director, and Mary Van Pietersom as vocal director. Choreography is by Brianna Dawson, Laura Cashin and Diana Neumeyer. Joe Feustel is the light and sound designer.
The stage crew is led by Matt O’Donnell and includes Claire Ball and Wylan Boyle.
On Friday, July 13, there will be a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by the show at 7:45 p.m.
On Sunday, July 15, there will be a show at 2 p.m.
There will also be a buffet dinner and show at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., respectively, on July 15.
Tickets for the dinner and show are $32 and for the show only are $10.
