Port school crowns GeoBee winners

Demonstrating they know their way around a globe were the winners of this year’s Thomas Jefferson Middle School National Geographic GeoBee (from left) Malachi Miller, third place; Bryce Isaacson, second place; and Max Vasilav, first place. Max, a fifth-grader at the Port Washington school, has taken a written exam in an effort to qualify for the state GeoBee competition.
