Port High grad earns doctorate at Princeton

Andy Alt received his doctorate in plasma physics from Princeton University  in New Jersey during the hooding ceremony on May 29 and the graduation ceremony on May 30.

Alt is a 2011 graduate of Port Washington High School and a 2015 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned  a degree in applied mathematics, engineering and physics.

He currently is living in London and will be married to his fiance Zoe Ashwood in June.

Ashwood received her doctorate in computer science at the same ceremonies as her fiancee.
