Port, Grafton golfers battle the wind

The Grafton High School boys’ golf team took eighth place and Port Washington 12th at the 20-team Kelly Green Invite last Friday in windy conditions at Hawthorne Hills.

Grafton had 465 strokes. Port had 492.Marquette won with 399.

For Port, Max Kelly shot 82. Antonio Feciskonin had 90. Reilly Sullivan had 91. Connor Hughes had 113 and Ryan Haas had 116.

For Grafton, Tyler Tsui had 91, Nick Flahive had 92, Danny Schmitz had 93, Connor Schultz had 94 and Jaden Polack had 95.

Ozaukee had 475 with four players.

Port competes at Fox Hills Resort on Thursday, Riverside on Saturday and the Bog on Monday.

Grafton competes at Hidden Glen on Thursday, Riverside on Saturday, the Bog on Monday and the North Shore Country Club on Tuesday.

Ozaukee is scheduled to play at Mascoutin on Monday, Town and Country on Tuesday and Riverdale on Wednesday.

Cedar Grove-Belgium is slated to play at Quit Qui Oc on Friday, Town and Country on Tuesday and Riverdale on Wednesday.
