Port dance team takes two seconds

The Port Washington High School dance team on Saturday finished second of six teams in Division 2 jazz and second of nine teams in Division 4 pom at the Wisconsin Association of Cheer and Pom Coaches Eastern Regional in Kaukauna. The team includes (front row, from left) Ava Mrozek, Sydney Rychtik, Brielle Bertler, Ella Gilhooly, (second row) Alyssa Hovey, Lizzi Princeton, Lexi Princeton, Tori Pokey, (back row) coach Becka Rindt, Meah Leister, Olivia Differt, Lilly Milbeck, Avalina Lentz, Rachel Krueger, Victoria Del Angel-Cano and coach Hanna Rausch. In addition, Mrozek and Rychtik were named Division 2 all-state solo finalists. The team competes in the state competition in La Crosse on Saturday, Feb. 5.
