A Place to Be to host fundraiser on Jan. 27

A cocktail party and art regatta fundraiser will be held to benefit A Place to Be in Saukville.

The event, which will feature live music, beer and wine, appetizers and desserts, will be held from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27.

It will be at the A Place to Be space at Parkside Community Church, 166 W. Dekora St., Saukville.

The event will feature music by the Hecker Duo and artist Charles Barksdale will work on a piece during the event.

Tickets for the event are $25.

The Art Regatta will offer participants the opportunity to obtain a piece of locally produced art to take home.

Those who buy a $75 regatta ticket will receive a number, and the numbers will be called in random order. When their number is called, people can select a piece of art to take home.

People may also participate in a silent auction.
