A Place to Be Center hosts gala on Jan. 30
A Place To Be Spirituality Center will hold its annual fundraiser gala from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center in Grafton.
The event will celebrate art, community and spiritual growth while raising funds to support the center’s programming, including book discussions, art workshops, social gatherings and contemplative practices.
The gala includes one-of-a-kind artwork by local artists, live art creation demonstrations, a silent auction featuring unique items, a wine pull and a creative corner where guests can make their own art.
There will be live music as well as food and beverages.
Tickets to the gala are $25 and may be purchased in advance. Tickets to participate in the art regatta, which ensures participants will receive a work of art, are $75 and may be purchased at the event.
The Nonprofit Center is at 2360 Dakota Dr.
