PHOTO OP ED: A creek runs through it

Sauk Creek runs beside Port Washington’s Coal Dock Park, not exactly through it, but this idyllic fishing scene on the creek with a background of turning leaves suggests an image from the movie “A River Runs Through It.” The film, directed by Robert Redford, feature glorious footage of fly fishing on a Montana river. The movie anglers cast flies to catch small, lithe brook trout. The Sauk Creek fishers sought lunker salmon and brown trout grown huge in Lake Michigan that were laboring upstream to spawn.
