Peter G. Holk Jr.

Peter G. Holk Jr., 56, of Saukville, died from a respiratory ailment at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon on Friday, May 25.
Mr. Holk was born in Port Washington on Jan. 12, 1962, to Peter Sr. and Betty Zernia Holk.
He grew up in the Town of Saukville and graduated from Ozaukee High School in 1980.
He worked the last years of his career as a truck driver.
According to his family, Mr. Holk was a minimalist who enjoyed reading about survivalism and living off the grid.
He enjoyed spending time at his father’s home in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
His family said he was an avid gamer who was well known in the online community for his advanced technical abilities.
Mr. Holk is survived by his parents Betty Holk of Fredonia and Peter G. (Peg) Holk Sr. of Cable; sisters Anne (Steve) Potter of Vernonia, Ore., and Martha Dick of Port Washington; and brother Paul of Grafton.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother-in-law Jon S. Dick.
A celebration of Mr. Holk’s life was held Saturday, June 2, at The Bridge Inn in Grafton.
Eernisse Funeral Home, Grafton, handled the arrangements.
