Pancake breakfast will help fund flood cleanup

The Waubeka Fire Department is planning a pancake breakfast to raise funds to help with flood cleanup expenses.

The breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 19, at the Waubeka Fire Station.

The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and a beverage.

Tickets for adults are $7 in advance or $9 at the door. Tickets are $4 for children ages 4 to 10 and free for children younger than 4.

In March, the Milwaukee River reached record levels, inundating downtown Waubeka, including the fire station, due to ice dams that formed on the river and rapid snowmelt.
