Padres release their schedule

If infielder Owen Miller, a 2015 Ozaukee High School graduate, makes his Major League debut with the San Diego Padres this season, it will be against one of nine teams.

The Padres recently released their 60-game schedule. Opponents include the Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Angels.

The Padres open the season at home Friday, July 24, against the Diamondbacks.

Miller led the Double-A Texas League in hits last season and was invited to Major League camp in spring before it was suspended due to Covid-19. He made the 60-man roster announced last month.

Miller is practicing with the team in San Diego.
