Ozaukee Christian School will hold an open house at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 20.

The event will afford visitors a chance to meet teachers and other parents and look through the school’s curriculum.

The evening will include a question-and-answer session with school administrators.

The school is at  341 S. Dries St., Saukville.

In March, school officials announced they had struck a deal to buy a 22,000-square-foot shopping center in the Town of Trenton in Washington County.

The school purchased the shopping center at 1204 Highway 33 from the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club, a Norco, Calif.-based chain of strip clubs and other nightclubs in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The sale has not closed yet, school Administrator Kris Austin said Monday.

The school had raised about $425,000 at the time of the announcement and continues to do so, Austin said. Officials have estimated the cost of buying the mall and the initial renovation to be $2.2 million.

The property sold for $532,000 in 2013, according to the Washington County Register of Deeds Office.

The school has recorded a 15-minute webinar that describes the project and financial need for prospective donors, Austin said.
