OED seeks speakers for April 22 career fair
Ozaukee Economic Development is partnering with area school districts for its annual Career Fair on April 22.
The event is hosted by Concordia University Wisconsin and provides an opportunity for high school students to learn about a variety of professional opportunities.
OED is working with the Mequon-Thiensville, Cedarburg, Grafton, Port Washington-Saukville and Northern Ozaukee school districts.
The event is similar to a business expo, in which individuals or businesses set up tables to talk to students about their professions rather than promote an individual business.
In previous years, the event has offered a variety of options, ranging from an FBI agent to interior designers to radiation technicians and military professions.
OED is also seeking new volunteers to speak about their professions at the event.
This year’s event will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
