Nicholas W. Jacque

Nic Jacque passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, at the age of 65.

He was born the son of Nicholas and Rita (nee Brainard) Jacque on May 16, 1957.

Nic attended Port Washington High School, Class of 1975, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Plattville with a major in marketing and graphic product design.

He lived 25 years in Phoenix, Ariz..

Opening his own business as a licensed contractor, Nic used his craftsmanship skills to fabricate custom designed doors, decorative wrought-iron fencing and security gates.

He and his wife Tina (nee Johannesen) made Port Washington their vacation destination each summer. Connecting with family and enjoying Port Fish Day activities were always at the top of his list.

Nic is survived by his wife Tina and stepsons Matt (Emma), Nick (Thu) and Trey, all of Phoenix, Ariz.

Nic is also survived by siblings Judy Wendtlandt of Grafton, Joanne Gerritts of Sherwood, Wis., Jane Jacque of Port Washington, Joel (Peggy) Jacque of Port Washington, John (Glenda) Jacque of Port Washington, Jim (Mary Jo) Jacque of Green Bay, Jules (Sue) Jacque of Blair, Wis., Jill (Kris) Becker of  Saukville, Jennifer (Greg) Chronis of Grafton and Jerome (Caralee) Jacque of  Fredonia and sister-in-law Deena (the late Jay) Jacque of Cedar Grove.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nic and Rita, brother Jay, brothers-in-law Rogera Wendtlandt and Robert Gerritts and father and mother-in-law Herb and Nancy Johannesen of Phoenix, Ariz.

A private celebration of life is planned. Keep Nic in your thoughts and prayers.
