New vacuum finishes year’s leaf collection

eaf vacuum (top photo) arrived just in time to finish up this year’s leaf collection last week. In September, the Village Board voted to buy the new vacuum for $55,000 to replace the 1957 model the village had been using. Most of the money came from an account created for that purpose.
