Mountain bike team seeking members

The Ozaukee County Composite Mountain Bike Team is seeking members for its upcoming season.

Experience is not necessary and there are no tryouts.

Students entering sixth through 12th grade from Belgium, Cedarburg, Fredonia, Grafton, Holy Cross, Mequon, Port Washington, Saukville, Thiensville and Waubeka are eligible.

The season runs from July 9 to Oct. 27.

Practices are held at Pleasant Valley Park from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and in New Fane or other locations from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays.

Training and practices hosted by National Interscholastic Cycling Associaion-certified coaches and ride leaders with Wilderness First Aid/CPR training.
