Monarch butterfly tagging is Saturday

Harrington Beach State Park in the Town of Belgium will hold monarch butterfly tagging from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 31.

People may help net and tag the butterflies as part of a national effort to track their movements. Attendees are directed to meet at the Puckett’s Pond shelter.
