Mildred W. Fisher

Mildred W. Fisher entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 28, 2026. She was 89 years old.
She was born on March 22, 1937, in Manitowoc, Wis., to parents Erhardt Waack and Ruth (nee Pleuss) Brouchoud.
Mildred graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc.
She was united in marriage with William F. Fisher on Sept. 27, 1958.
She worked at Fromm Laboratories in Grafton, where she held several positions.
Mildred enjoyed birdwatching, tending to her flowers and plants and attending Friday night fish fries with her former co-workers from Fromm Laboratories. She was a part of the Red Hat Ladies. Above all, she cherished her time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mildred is survived by her children Bill Fisher, Cheryl (Kurt) Johnson and Sue (Bill) Gertsch, grandchildren Sara (Ryan) Tredinnick, Mark (Samantha) Fisher, Mike (Julie) Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Matt Gertsch and Ryan Gertsch and great-grandchildren Ava, Ellie, Theo, Benny and Howie. She is further survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William and siblings Lloyd, Leroy, Marie and Margaret.
A service for Mildred will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St., Grafton, Wis. The family will greet guests from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. Pastor Jacob Schultz will officiate.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul Lutheran School in Grafton in Mildred’s name are greatly appreciated.
