Michael Gengler

Michael Gengler passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, at home surrounded by family after fighting a 12-year battle with cancer.

He was born on Jan. 10, 1960. He grew up in Cedarburg, Wis.

Michael worked at Johnson Brass in Saukville for 13 years. He then worked for the Random Lake School District for seven years. He had recently retired from Construction Forms in Port Washington after working there for 16 years.

Michael enjoyed golfing on weekends with his son Tony, going to the casino with his brother Kevin, gardening and spending time with his loved ones.

Michael is survived by his brother Kevin Gengler, sister Kelly (Fred) Medinger, daughter Katrina Winter, son Anthony Gengler, granddaughters Abrigail and Melayah and his girlfriend and love of his life Faith Yenter. He is also survived by his niece and nephews and many others he considered family.

Michael was proceeded in death by his father Melvin Gengler and mother Mary Laney.

The family will have a celebration of life this summer.
