Mary Catherine Gabrich, 65, of Fredonia, Wis., passed away peacefully on Aug. 14, 2025 with her husband, William Gabrich, at her side after an extended battle with cancer.

Mary was born in Milwaukee on July 3, 1960, to Thomas and F. Patricia Connerton.

She grew up with a love of music, pinball and pool. 

Known for her creative spirit and generous heart, Mary touched the lives of many.

She married William on April 7, 1984, and together they raised two daughters, sharing 41 years of marriage together.

After dedicating 30 years as a foundry worker, Mary proudly retired from Briggs & Stratton of Milwaukee. 

Beyond her work, she found joy in summer vacations at the cabin, car shows, hosting parties, thrifting and snowmobiling. She was exceptionally talented at scrapbooking memories and painting ceramics.

Mary is survived by her loving husband William; daughters Jamie and Laurie (Mileena); stepson Steven (Jill); seven grandchildren; three siblings; many nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of friends who will miss her dearly.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her love of family and the many happy memories she created.

A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at Pilgrim Church, 1621 Second Ave., Grafton, with the funeral service to follow.
