Marv Kellar

Marv Kellar of Waubeka passed away on Sunday evening, May 3, 2026. He was 72 years old.
Marvin was born in West Bend on April 8, 1954, the son of Ernest and Evelyn (nee Wilkens) Kellar.
The family lived in the Waubeka area, and Marv attended local schools, graduating from Port Washington High School with the Class of 1972 before continuing his education at Milwaukee Area Technical College and Kettle Moraine Technical College.
On June 10, 1972, Marv was united in marriage with Darlene Turenne at St. Rose Catholic Church in Fredonia. The couple were blessed with two children before their paths parted.
Marv worked in the quality control division of Legget and Platt/EST Co. and later drove trucks for Schmitz Ready Mix, where he worked for more than 30 years with lots of hard work and dedication. He fully retired in 2016.
Marv enjoyed motorcycling, auto racing, hunting, fishing and travel. He liked helping others and supporting his children in their hobbies. Marv was a consummate tinkerer and could usually be found in the shop making something out of nothing.
Survivors include his daughter Jennifer (Eric Twohig) Kellar of Rhinelander, son Sean (Angie) Kellar of Fredonia and three grandchildren, Isebelle Twohig, Abigale Kellar and David Kellar.
He is further survived by brother Myron (Linda) Kellar of Port Washington, sisters Donna (Paul Maechtle) Schubert of Port Washington, Carolyn Johnson of Sheboygan and Yvonne (Gene) Morauski of Desoto, as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Marv was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Evelyn and sister Janice (the late Tom) Bublitz.
A celebration of life for Marv will be held on Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at his residence.
