Martin J. Grimord

Martin J. Grimord, 80, of Gallatin, Tenn., and formerly of Grafton, died May 9.

Mr. Grimord was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 28, 1937, to Martin and Cecilia Servia Grimord.

After graduating from Pulaski High School in 1956, he served in the U.S. Air National Guard.

Mr. Grimord co-owned Ladek Metal Products in Milwaukee and was plant supervisor at KMC Stampings in Port Washington.

He moved to Arizona, where he and his wife of 42 years, Sandra Rose, operated two restaurants. The couple moved to Tennessee, where Mr. Grimord retired from Sumner Regional Medical Center in 2000.

Mr. Grimord is survived by his wife Sandra of Gallatin, Tenn.; children Jeffery (Bao Wen) of Baltimore and Cheryl (Michael) Schmitz of Los Angeles; stepchildren Richard (Joyce) Zachow of Manitowoc, Kristine McCreary of Gallatin, Tenn., and Robert (Joanne) Zachow of Sheboygan.

He is further survived by his brother William (Lynn) of Milwaukee; sister Beverly (Terry) Manthey of Milwaukee; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life military service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at the Landt-Thiel American Legion Post #477 in Saukville.
