Margaret Kolbach
Margaret P. Kolbach, 82, of Port Washington, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Aurora Medical Center in Hartford.
Mrs. Kolbach was born in Milwaukee on June 30, 1936, to John and Helen Lemanczyk Pejka. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Mercy High School in 1954.
On July 30, 1955, she married Donald Kolbach of Port Washington in Milwaukee. The couple lived and worked on the family farm in the Town of Port Washington for eight years, then moved to the City of Port Washington.
Mrs. Kolbach was a member of the St. Peter of Alcantara Altar Society and choir. She enjoyed reading, working in her flower gardens and playing cards with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Kolbach is survived by her husband Donald of Port Washington and children Jane (Lee) Grantham of Greenfield, Ken (Lori) and Peter (Linda), both of Port Washington, Ann (Neil) Mandel of New Berlin and Kathy (John Oberhofer) Kolbach of Franklin.
She is further survived by her grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Cassiopea, Natalie, Stephanie, Daniel, Kevin, Steven, Kaitlyn and David and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kolbach was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Phyllis and Lucille.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 1, at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, in Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will officiate.
Visitation will be at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Washington.
Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington, is handling the arrangements.
