Lucky golfer could win a car at Lions Golf Outing

Standing next to a new vehicle from the Eric von Schledorn dealership in Saukville — one of the prizes that could be given away during the 27th annual Grafton Lions Golf Outing on Monday, Aug. 18, at Edgewater Golf Club in Grafton — were Jodi Collins, owner and manager of Edgewater; Mike Donahue, co-chairman of the golf outing; Edgewater owner Dave Hubacek; Eric Olsen, golf outing co-chairman; and Bill Riebe of EVS Saukville. The vehicle could go to a golfer who shoots a hole-in-one during the fundraising event, which starts with registration and a putting contest at noon, followed by a shotgun start to the four-person scramble at 1 p.m. Dinner, a silent auction and the awarding of prizes will begin at 4:30 p.m. The $70 entry fee includes golf, a cart, dinner and raffle prizes. To register, go to www.graftonlions.com or contact Donahue at (414) 322-2653. Proceeds from the event will be used by the club for community causes.        Photo by Sam Arendt
