Loyola Barry

Loyola A. Barry, 93, of the Town of Cedarburg, died Thursday, May 3, at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg.
Mrs. Barry was born in Two Rivers on Aug. 2, 1924, to Emil and Gertrude Scheuer Ellerman. On June 23, 1945, she married Milton Barry in Two Rivers.
She was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville, where she was a member of the Christian Women.
She served as a lieutenant with the Civil Air Patrol during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Barry is survived by her children Tom of Prescott, Ariz., Eileen King of the Town of Cedarburg, Kris (Tom) Werginz of The Villages, Fla., and Liz Wedereit of Saukville.
She is further survived by grandchildren Lindsey, Cavan, Barry, Andy, Betsy, Jack, Brad, Katy, Catherine and Jamie; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister Janice (Weston) Counard of Green Bay.
Mrs. Barry was preceded in death by her husband Milton.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 18, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Cedarburg. Father Patrick Wendt will preside.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until the service.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saukville.
Memorials are suggested to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
