Live at Triangle summer outdoor concerts will return June 12

Organizers have announced the lineup for this summer’s Live at the Triangle, Saukville’s free summer concert series at Veterans Park in downtown Saukville.

Six Wednesday night shows will be staged beginning Wednesday, June 12, and every other Wednesday thereafter through Aug. 21.

Concerts will run from 7 to 9:30 p.m. 

The full entertainment line-up, including musical styles, includes:

• June 12 — Leroy Airmaster with Little Maddie, traditional blues.

• June 26 — Saddlebrook, modern country.

• July 10  — Road Trip, classic and current rock.

• July 24 — The Britins, Beatles tribute.

• Aug. 7 — Solid Cedar, classic rock.

• Aug. 21 — Otto Day and the Nites, classic rock and hits.

Live at the Triangle is sponsored by the Village of Saukville, Ozaukee Press, Port Washington State Bank, Saukville Chamber of Commerce, Village Sno-Seekers, and Port Washington-Saukville Rotary Club.

It is partially funded with $2,500 from the village tourism room tax.

“Live at the Triangle is important to Saukville and the area because it brings together families and friends for free music nights,” Village President Barb Dickmann said.  “They are able to enjoy an assortment of both great music and also delicious food.  

“The event continues to grow and we, along with our great sponsors, are always excited to bring this venue to our citizens and others,” she said.

Bands perform on the Veterans Park bandstand in Veterans Park. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to listen to the music on the park grass. 

Food and beverages will be sold at the park from local businesses and service clubs.  

If weather conditions cause the cancellation of a concert, organizers will try to reschedule it for the following Wednesday.

Each of the Live at the Triangle nights will also include a “Cruise Night” with custom and stock autos and motorcycles on display.

To accommodate the concerts and the auto and bike displays, Green Bay Avenue south of the park will be closed on concert evenings. Highway 33 and South Mill Street west of the park will both remain open unless the size of the audience dictates otherwise.
