Linda Radtke

Linda J. Radtke, 61, of Cedar Grove and formerly of Fredonia, died of cancer at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls on Friday, May 18.

Mrs. Radtke was born in Lake Forest, Ill., on Jan. 5, 1957, to Paul and Patricia Kinney Pahlman. She attended local schools and moved to Trevor in the early 1980s.

In 1995, she moved to Fredonia with her children.

On Aug. 2, 2013, she married Richard Radtke in Sheboygan.

Mrs. Radtke was a quality assurance inspector at Injectec in Saukville. She retired in 2016, after 15 years on the job.

According to her family, Mrs. Radtke enjoyed being outside in the sunshine and gardening. Her children will miss her cooking, especially her Swiss steak, meatballs and deviled eggs.

She was an animal lover who enjoyed time with her pets almost as much as she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Radtke is survived by her husband Richard of Cedar Grove; children Robert (Sara) Bauer and Krystal (Edward) Alexander, both of Belgium; stepsons Dean Radtke of Palmira and Sean Radtke of Texas; grandchildren Abigail and Hannah Bauer, Evan, Kennedy and Emerson Alexander, and Harley Ann Radtke.

She is further survived by her father Paul Pahlman of Mundelein, Ill.; sisters Shairn Weeks of Mundelein, Ill., Paula (Ray) Zack of Round Lake Beach, Ill., and Jan Titus of Ohio; brother Kenn (Anita) Pahlman of Lake Villa, Ill.; and parents-in-law Raymond and Darleen Radtke of Sussex.

Mrs. Radtke was preceded in death by her mother Patricia.

A memorial service will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 21, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Belgium.
