Lighthouse history is topic for July 16 talk
“Lighthouse History” is the topic for a Thursday, July 16, presentation by the Port Washington Historical Society.
Marie Blunt will work with those attending to build a United States lighthouse timeline that will include the agencies responsible for lighthouses, key innovations and the rise and fall of the number of lighthouses.
Blunt will also discuss the history of the Port Washington lighthouses.
The talk will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Port Washington State Bank Community Room, 218 E. Washington St.
There is no fee but those attending are asked to reserve a spot by visiting https://www.pwhistory.org.
