Library patrons invited to participate in Food for Fines

November is Food for Fines month at the Oscar Grady Public Library in Saukville.

Patrons can bring in nonperishable food items and have up to $5 in Saukville library fines removed. Food items will be donated to Family Sharing of Ozaukee County in Grafton. A list of the items most needed is available at the library circulation desk.

In addition, the library’s children’s department has reopened. It was closed earlier this year due to concerns about the Covid-19 virus.

Patrons are being asked to wear masks as part of the library’s reopening plan. Under the plan, occupancy is limited to 50%.

The library is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays.

Services include checkout and return of library materials, Inter-Library Loan services, public internet and wireless access, printing, photocopying, faxing and patron access to the Digital Media Conversion Lab and the Jim and John Peterson archive collection.

Curbside pickup continues to be available on request for older adults and those with vulnerable health risks.
