LETTERS: Trump’s treatment of allies is shameful and embarrassing

To Ozaukee Press:

Much like the parent of an unruly child whose behavior at a birthday party was an embarrassment, on behalf of my fellow Americans I offer apologies to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada and French President Emmanuel Macron for my president’s behavior at the G7 meeting.

I am so ashamed. We have long valued our friendship with both your countries and hope that Trump’s recent actions in word and deed as they apply to both of you have not forever damaged this country’s closeness to France and Canada.
