LETTER: We have a good thing going here, don’t let politics ruin it 

To Ozaukee Press:

We all know that communism, socialism, fascism, nazi-ism, terrorism and theocracy don’t work for the common person. No one wants to live under tyranny. So, why are people running around supporting Putin, Hamas, Houthis, Hezbollah and the numerous other terrorist groups?

We know what works. Look around the world and wherever democracy and capitalism are people live better than other places. I don’t see anyone lined up to get into Russia, North Korea, Iran,or Afghanistan. They wish to come to enjoy the freedom and inventiveness of the west. 

We’ve got a good thing going here. Let’s not allow partisan politics and nonsense to destroy the cooperation we need to build a more perfect union.
