LETTER: Walker must stop illegal aliens seeking jobs at Foxconn plant

To Ozaukee Press:

Regarding the Ozaukee Press editorial concerning Foxconn and its impact on the environment, though it is important to protect the environment and honor Earth Day founder Gaylord Nelson’s legacy, it also is important that Wisconsin makes sure that the jobs Foxconn brings to the state are given to Americans and legal foreign workers. To that end, Gov. Walker should be asked if he supports requiring Foxconn to commit to using E-Verify to establish the legality of its workforce.

Walker earlier had asked that $7 million be set aside for a marketing campaign to attract Americans to the state to fill certain jobs. He’s not going to get much of a response if he doesn’t take steps to make sure that citizens considering relocating here will not have to compete with illegal aliens in the job market.
