LETTER: Time to remove ‘sad pretender’ from America’s highest office

“Trump warns of civil war if impeached.”

Really? Try to wrap your mind around this:

We now know that Donald Trump attempted to extort President Zelensky of Ukraine by withholding desperately needed military aid on the condition that he assist in manufacturing political filth against the Biden family.

In the short time since this fact was publicly revealed, Trump has openly threatened vengeance, including implied execution of the whistleblower, the intelligence insiders who informed the whistleblower, the director of national intelligence, the intelligence inspector general, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, Democrats in general and countless others, including some Republicans and even a few Fox News personalities.

Now he is actually threatening the people of the United States with violent reprisals if he faces impeachment.

Do we really need any further demonstration of Trump’s dire psychological incapacitation before we join together to remove this sad pretender from the highest office in our land?
