LETTER: Some voters will die as result of legislators’ election tactics

My letter to Wisconsin Sen. Scott Fitzgerald and Rep. Robin Vos:

As a recently retired physician after 45 years of dedicated service to Wisconsin residents, I feel compelled to alert you to the dire consequences of your refusal to allow mail balloting on April 7.

You have transparently chosen to sacrifice the lives of potentially countless numbers of Wisconsin residents by forcing them to break quarantine to get to the polls. There is absolutely no doubt that numerous voters will be infected and many will die because of your callous and unforgivable decision.  

This is a political act that will “live in infamy” in Wisconsin history. You and the entire Wisconsin Republican Party will never be able to wash the blood stains that will inevitably result from this tragic and inexcusable decision from your hands.
